1974 Triumph TR6 in the just gorgeous British Racing Green (75) paint color with a simply great luster along with a terrific body, just arrow straight sides, restored with a simply great history that shows all signs of being a frame off build, now this is along with a top presentation today as finished by the Fraser Dante shop, simply a fantastic restored to top conditions, see the extremely striking presentation with contrasting biscuit side striping, the contrasting Biscuit headrest bucket seated interior, the color is called ‘new tan’, this has a just really gorgeous restored burl wood dash fascia with a beautiful varnish, Blaupunkt AM-FM radio, has the restored proper Smith’s gauges, very top excellent fresh full mechanicals prepared for the collector who demands a great Driven Show car quality, front spoiler, a highly detailed car with excellent mechanicals and suspension including the re-built correct 2.5 liter 6 cylinder engine with all correct ‘numbers’ that are shown in the Fraser Dante report, has receipts and notes from the build, oil pressure video, has very strong and even compression just checked, has the hard to find dual Stromberg 175 CD carburetors with the factory air cleaner are just set by top English technician, this car performs superbly with very strong and smooth power from the superior engine with the valves that are freshly adjusted, factory intake, Anza dual exhaust system, brand new oil and filter with uprated spin on oil filter, added front oil cooler, the car works very well with the proper rebuilt 4-speed transmission with the very desirable working overdrive, has a brand new 12 volt battery, all new carpet, special TR6 floormats, a new expensive proper black ‘reflector bottom’ strip convertible soft top, rear top cover and full black tonneau, brand new blackwall radial tires, these are mounted on four correct 15” fully restored wheels that look great, argent power coated, set up with proper lug nuts, center caps with a very clean look, chrome trim rings are available with the package but would hurt the surface on these powder coated wheels, detailed trunk with carpet to show standards, all the lighting is checked and works well, note that the underchassis is simply really outstanding and very hard to find in this condition, see the many photos of the frame, floors and suspension, rebuilt lever action shocks, these are shown in the main photo area and then a special LINK, all upper and lower front end links, great brakes with 95% pad life left, the front gas shocks are new, the chassis is so solid and this drives and feels like a brand new car, just sensational underchassis and floors, has a new video of the car being driven at Fraser Dante on November 2020 (SEE LINK), it works just great…has a correct Data Tag (LINK), note that the paint has such very good luster that is just show prepared, has a factory TR6 Owner’s Handbook (LINK)also historical promotional material for build information and show presentation, here is the really best color on such a terrific British sports car, many receipts and extensive notes of the initial restoration show $27,816 not counting the car (LINK), then work by the last Georgia owner, then that is before the Fraser Dante new described work and tires, the test driving that finds the chassis so very solid and like a new production model, has the front XXX Triplex windshield, the top mechanicals completed, the detailing just completed for excellent Driven Show ready for Christmas 2020, see the many photos show the condition today!!!

Engine: this has great and smooth performance for a car with a dry weight of 2438 lbs. with the strong 2.5 liter 6 cylinder engine, notes and receipts in the file show it was rebuilt in California in the major restoration, it works very well in today’s ‘real world’ with the factory 101 rated horsepower and very strong low end torque, has an engine rebuild with the strong and compression of 132 to 138 lbs. within a remarkable 6 lbs. across on a dry, cold compression just taken (LINK), also has the uprated expensive desirable Anza dual exhaust system thusly adding power and looks, fresh full new throttle bushings and new linkage connected with new fuel lines to the dual Stromberg Carburetors, numbered 175 CD-2 on both, they are mounted on the Stanpart Aluminum proper intake manifold, this carb setup is very valuable as they are not available in the reproduction today, then these stock carbs are matched with the proper factory head (SEE THE VERY EXTENSIVE NOTES WITH THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION NUMBERS FROM NOVEMBER 2020), in order for this very proper engine bay to present well for top Driven Show and also be fresh for the great cooling, a set of green very correct factory hoses with the proper clamps are installed, for excellent cooling, there is an added front oil cooler (SEE LINK) that aids in engine cooling for safety and performance, in this process the coolant is just flushed and replaced, has the proper airbox from the radiator for air flow, the Fraser Dante in house British senior mechanic just set and synchronized these carbs, then we just checked the engine timing and that is set to factory specs, noted that when the valves in the head were also just adjusted,

racing oil/filter: Special Valvoline high performance VR1 20-50 high zinc oil is added along with new filter for engine protection, (LINK) note this step is the top racing quality oil that can only engines without a catalytic converter, also has a special K&N Hi-Po oil filter to protect the engine,  this has excellent electricals with a brand-new O’Reilly’s ‘Power Plus’ new 12-volt battery just installed, this is the best quality we can find,  Fraser Dante professional shop then did the final road check and just road tested as a very ‘spirited’ driver, brand new expensive NGK ‘Cooper Plus’ spark plugs, the oil and spin on filter are brand new installed,

transmission: this has the correct 4 speed transmission with the very desirable Laycock ‘J’ overdrive, the receipts and notes in the file show the system was rebuilt in 2014, see the ‘numbers’ that are just checked in the car inspection in November 2020 (LINK), the receipt road check found all in proper working order, this has a new shift boot and the uprate Triumph wood shift handle, 

interior/exterior: a very, very nice new restored, expensive factory burl wood dash with gorgeous varnish really presents so very well,  it is very hard to find one so nice!! Has the restored and working factory proper Smith’s gauges, working Blaupunkt AM-FM radio with CD, model #RPD 43J, 6” Kenwood speaks, the top condition Biscuit bucket headrest seats are called ‘new tan’ (33) by Triumph, has the proper safety belts, has the beige carpet, additional black TR6 floormats, the trunk is properly finished with carpet, a spare, jack and handle, the exterior is painted in the ’75’ color called British Racing Green, this paint is just highly detailed with great luster, presented with the side single biscuit stripe and the proper rear quarter British flag, this really is a striking and correct presentation, also this has the desirable and  expensive XXX Triplex laminated new windshield  with full new rubber molding, the windows work as they should, 

Suspension/brakes: all front and rear suspension has been fully rebuilt, every rubber bushing is top notch, all the ball joints, front and rear control arm bushings are done, see the close up photos of the orange restored swing arm rear lever action shocks, they work great, the front gas shocks have been replaced, the control arms are rebuilt, the fresh springs were replaced in the first California restoration and now highly detailed, from the checking at Fraser Dante and the written notes of work done, the receipts show that the expensive steering rack is also a rebuilt unit, the full braking system is just fully checked with the new calipers and new pads with 95% life left, the rear drums are top notch, (LINK), then we did another top quality update, this car has, of course, done little miles since the restoration, to make sure this is safe, a brand new brake master cylinder with proper gasket is just installed by the professionals at Fraser Dante, very few people go to this extent to check their cars and assure top performance,

Note on build costing for 2020/21:  please understand in the new world today, as a builder and restorer of classic cars and trucks, the parts chain supply stream is either cut off or in very limited supply, when we get our needed restoration parts, the costings are now much higher than before, the build costing of these quality investment vehicles are climbing, Fraser Dante has a large stock of needed parts that cover a lot of our needs, we run a professional shop with full time staff along with top expert subs for specifics that have worked with us for years,

Wheels: these are beautifully restored factory 15” wheels, these proper argent gray wheels are top notch with the powder coated finish to protect, they have the proper TR center caps and the lug nuts, these ae shown today without the trim rings for the very clean look, the Fraser Dante package includes a very nice set of factory trim rings that are shown in the photos, many hours in these wheels alone,

new tires: this car came with older red line tires that were not current for safe driving today, Fraser Dante has now a brand new 205/70R15 Kinergy ST Touring All-Season tires are just mounted, (LINK), developed for a balanced blend of performance combined with long tread life, Kinergy ST is designed to deliver a quiet ride along with confident traction in dry and wet ‘real day’ conditions, these exploit an abrasion-resistant all-season compound for durability…center rib and tie bars in the outboard grooves stabilize enhanced rigidity and responsive handling, independent tread blocks create multiple biting edges for traction in slippery conditions, wide lateral notches combine with optimized sides to provide wet braking performance, two-ply, polyester casing aids durability with two wide, steel belts stabilizing the tread for high-speed capability, high-stiffness bead filler delivers sharp steering response, these new tires mounted and balanced with costing of $404, (LINK),
