1971 442/455 CONVERTIBLE CLONE, A terrific 1971 442/455
W25/W30 Cutlass convertible restored to very nice, top driven
show standards with a correct 455cid engine with casting number
396021F, this was built from an original 350cid Supreme convertible,
proper red inner fenders and the rare Olds aluminum '455' intake
are used as the W30 442/455 would have, proper Ram Air intake,
a really nice Matador Red paint with white pin stripes and rear
spoiler has an outstanding and aggressive look, the great body
lines couple the white bucket seated with console interior, full
power equipment, the new white top, well and 'glass' window are
new, the work includes a frame-on restoration that is documented
with fresh floors and suspension, extremely solid and nice underchassis,
the driving abilities with the work on chassis yields a car that
drives exceptionally, has the important and hard to get W25 hood
with white stripe that is fiberglass with steel reinforcement,
it looks great and is most valuable today, correct rear spoiler,
dual outside sport mirrors, correct W30 package that includes
the W25 hood, has the chrome hood tie downs plus the proper hood

new 4-row radiator, flapper air cleaner system from
the hood to intake for the 4v carberator, this 455cid unit has
been rebuilt with compression of 156 to 162 lbs in a cold reading,
this shows how strong this engine is to be within 6 lbs across,
with the proper heads and intake, this engine should produce the
360 horsepower and almost 500 lbs of torque, has the proper exhaust
manifolds, when driven to its first show in Summer 2008, the power

442 White center stripes, only 1304 442 convertibles were produced
in 1971, VIN#344671M122999, great body, very nice underchassis,
white bucket interior finished front and rear, console, excellent

underchassis, freshly built 396021F, 455cid, 4v carberator, proper
air induction system, intake is 404521 D1, heads are 'E' cfd 408686,

1972 455 SUPREME CONVERTIBLE, with the original 445
cid engine, very nicely cosmetically restored with excellent mechanicals,
this is a great looking original non-color change done in factory
Sequoia Green (48), a beautiful dark green color, white side stripes,
442 rear bumper, correct Rochester 4v, working factory air conditioning
just redone, great local show cruise night car, this was an original
'Supreme' model and looks like a 442, this was restored with the
original matching number 455 cid engine, the car has the correct
250 horsepower rating UB engine with 4 barrel Rochester carburetor,
here is a Georgia car for many years, went up North for a brief
period, then back to Atlanta, VIN#3J67U2M106750 shows an original
442/455 with the original 455cid original engine, casting #396021F
and VIN#2M106750 on the engine, has a nice Rochester 4v valuable
carburetor, this is most valuable as last year of this model run,
wonderful popular car in the 70's and a top collector car for
the new millennium, this last restoration yields top mechanicals
so it is a driven show car, the horsepower was underrated by the
factory, correct air cleaner, all of this is right for the automatic
transmission with factory air conditioned car, the torque on this
car is extremely strong 370 lbs, this air conditioning is terrific
with the factory A/C with all fittings and lines, hoses, belts,
just checked, this has a correct factory air cleaner, air conditioning
