1972 Triumph TR6 restored in the original and very pretty color of Sapphire Blue, great looking presentation with luggage rack and the alloy wheels, this is just set up for a serious collector who wants a terrific sports car from a professional shop with top mechanical and suspension work so the car can be driven and enjoyed…a very nice presentation, top expert mechanicals just completed, a full black interior, wood dash, a new Black top installed, this is a very original and correct car that is just like the factory, has a really great file of history of maintaining for many years, this also features the strong rebuilt 2.5 liter, 6 cylinder with excellent even compression, has the correct dual Stromberg 175D carburetors, these have just been fully rebuilt by a top British tech along with a fresh full tune, excellent compression across, has complete full plug wires and spark plugs, new finned alloy show valve cover, the engine inner compartment is just finished in the body color, a highly Driven Show Detailed just completed, the drivetrain has the 4-speed transmission with the working overdrive, the body lines are really nice, set up as a top driven show car with  superb mechanicals with excellent performance, great emphasis are spent in the front and rear suspension is just accomplished, expensive 15x6 8 spoke Alloy Minilite replica wheels with Dunlop205/65R15 SP Sport tires, the trunk is solid and just restored in body color, the spare has the original steel wheel and bias ply tires, also a jack, the just completed outstanding underchassis detailed with both the frame and floors, the great underchassis is show prepared with the red oxided floors and the just terrific black frame, these great floors are so important in a TR6, (LINK), this very nice body has very straight lines, the gauges work in extremely the wood dash, Owner’s Manual, a new front lower chin spoiler has just been installed for handling, looks and cooling that is an expensive addition, costing about $300 installed, a whole list of recent parts from the Fraser Dante shop will be provided to the new owner, here is very well presented, restored driven show condition 1972 TR6 that we are proud of,

There are lots of great specs of this car that are just done checked and that are now presented by Fraser Dante…there is a really excellent very long history of the past work by the last owner who really took car of this car, NOTE: there are receipts in the file for the great maintenance through the years in Atlanta for an amazing $24,515…this is even before the many hours of professional work completed by Fraser Dante, now then currently we show what is on the car today, there is a sheet for the specific wheels, tires and running gear (LINK)…there another sheet for the engine and the very exacting specifics, all of this gives great information, this has an added roll bar that is only bolted in, the body is really very nice, note that the car was painted some unknown years ago, now Fraser Dante has completed a professionally high speed buffing of the car, then our paint expert came in and does a fantastic with the touch ups to achieve a really nice Driven Show presentation, a very pretty luster and solid car, braking system just checked (LINK),

Engine info: here is freshly detailed show quality engine bay that is just through the Fraser Dante shop, many hours are just spent from taking this from a ‘driver’ status to a proudly presented Driven Show Car, after engine bay cleaning, then one can see the photos of the first hand sanded bare metal inner fenders work that then have the gray primer applied and then re-sanded again, then the body Blue color just applied (LINK), thusly fresh under the hood presentation to couple the excellent mechanicals, now drive this car to a show and be proud when the hood is open, this looks even better with the new expensive finned aluminum show valve cover is attached with the HD FelPro cork gasket (LINK), if one wants a stock restored and painted valve cover and new gasket that could be changed, all of this effort took lots of time, LINK to parts used in maintaining this TR6,

has the excellent famous 2.5 liter, in line 6 cylinder engine, that develops 106 horsepower at 4900 rpm with the maximum torque of 133 ft/lb., this strong torque that is yielded by the 2.94” bore and long 3.74” stroke, excellent very even strong compression of 133 to 143 lbs in a dry/cold reading just taken (LINK), proper dual Stromberg 175-CDs side draft carburetors just now restored, these carbs along with the valves have just been checked by our Senior British tech, the photos show said the valve cover off as this work is being accomplished, the timing on the distributor is set, this has the factory air cleaners, restored air cleaner, lots of professional work was done in the Atlanta in the past few years by shops well known to this writer, lots of receipts, see the attached sheet that has all of the ‘numbers’ shown on the engine (LINK), this verifies exactly what is there today,

Spark plugs/plug wires: in order to insure this fresh tune works so very well for both show and performance, Fraser Dante has installed and brand new Denso 7mm high performance carbon impregnated fiberglass core braid with Suppression wires and new end caps are just installed, with these new wires, a full set of NGK BPR5ES #7734 solid core spark plugs that feature a 5-Rib insulator design and corrosion-resistant plating that provides a great spark and a broad heat range (SEE LINK),

Transmission:  here is the proper 4-speed transmission with the working overdrive, it is road tested, has the uprated Triumph interior wood shift handle, brand new front differential (LINK), just installed by our British mechanic (LINK),
Body and paint: here is a very nice part of this driven show car, painted a few years ago and used sparingly for the occasional drive, this them came to Fraser Dante rust free, then after our initial cleaning, our highly professional team of high speed buffers and high tech was guys came it to do their magic (LINK), luster came out great, then our next sub came in and did a really great paint match and touch up to make the paint a top #2 Driven Show car,

Wheels and tires:  this currently has the desirable and expensive  lightweight 15x6”  8 spoke Alloy Minilite replica wheels that are very good looking, they have the very good performance Dunlop SP Sport tires in the 205/65/R15 size mounted,  note that this still has the original very rare spare steel wheel from the factory, it has on the Goodyear 5.90x15 bias ply tubeless tire mounted with the stamping of ‘Made in Great Britain’…both are detailed (SEE LINK), next, also there is available an set of an original set of restored factory steel painted wheels, trim rings and restored factory center caps with new red ‘TR6’ logos that could be installed if someone wants that package as their desire, we could then mount and balance another new full set of brand new Hankook Kinergy 205/70/15 blackwall radial tire for looks and great driving (SEE LINK OF NEW TIRES), retail value of this complete set is $448, all of this is the buyer’s choice, same price and either way is fine, full trunk detail (LINK),
