1974 Oldsmobile Y77 Hurst Indy Pace Car W25 rare car that is presented in just top Driven Show Condition with complete documentation, here the famous Cameo White color that is contrasted to the special just striking Hurst Pace car treatment including the special rear roof vinyl area with body logos, this was the first time in Speedway history that an automotive parts manufacturer's name was included in the actual pace car title, the 1974 Oldsmobile V8 Hurst/Olds was the pace car in this model but the Indy 500 track required convertibles for the parade lap cars, so the Delta 88 convertible was chosen to parade celebrities and guests on the track, here is the fantastic Cutlass Supreme Sports Coupe, see the factory Data Tag to confirm the authenticity (LINK), this has the famous 350 Rocket V8 with great compression that has all the original ‘matching numbers’ to authenticate the build, brand new heavy duty battery, this came originally in the two door sports coupe model, full power equipment and perfect working order, this comes with great investment grade documentation with the Original Owners Manuals, Consumer Information, the Original Bill of Sale, the Letter of Authenticity from R.H. Kelty, the Zone Manager of Oldsmobile, (SEE THE LINK),

Here is only 1 of 1,420 produced as Oldsmobile was so very popular in the 1970-1976 period, has the matching numbers L34 Rocket 350 engine, 4v carburetor, new rotor button, spark plugs, distributor cap, ignition points and condenser, (LINK), aluminized dual exhaust system, Y77 Hurst appearance option, M38 Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission, working air conditioning system that has just been updated at Fraser Dante with a new compressor, when received the system still had the original R5 coolant from the factory, has just been converted and uprated to the more modern 134a, power steering, tilt steering wheel, great power fresh front disc brakes, very cool and rare white AN7 swivel bucket seats, this stock wheel and tire car was received with the Firestone raised white letter tires with good tread but were dated 2000, Fraser Dante has just installed the new expensive B.F.Goodrich Radial TA’s, has just great suspension with original springs, brand new Monroe heavy duty shocks just installed (LINK), this has the factory handling package with both front and rear sway bar, a brand new DuraLast 800 cold cranking amp battery has just been installed for excellent starting, new battery cables, this is still numbers matchings with complete check of all data, the car is so fantastic that Fraser Dante is taking this April 5, 2019 to my high school reunion to show what we stand for…an amazing car,

numbers: this is the full just highly original 350cid engine that is a mainstay with GM for so many years, this is factory equipped with the original rebuilt Rochester 4v carburetor and the dual exhaust system, has all the proper stampings and numbers are under the hood, a really unmolested engine bay that is now detailed for show, all of the hoses and belts are just new, the radiator flushed and the coolant fluids are fresh, has the new points, the timing set, new spark plugs installed and all the wires are excellent, the compression is just checked with a dry cold readings of 142 to 148 lbs across (LINK), really excellent and virtually like new, with the new 800amp cold craning power battery and great cables to make all the systems work, this writer has taken this out for personal showing and it runs fantastic!  See the full complete attached sheet (LINK) that breaks down all of the numbers that were pulled at Fraser Dante in April 2019 to verify the original and correct condition today,

oil/filter: Fraser Dante uses very expensive special high-tech racing oil with added zinc content with Valvoline VR1 20-50 to insure long term performance, this is for early non-catalytic engines that need the heavy duty oil plus the added zinc for lubrication purposes (LINK) to maintain these older engines, very costly and used only from top shops as Fraser Dante,

Wheels and tires: just now the great looking and proper Hurst Gold slotted wheels as factory are recently detailed, when this car was found by Fraser Dante, this had been used as a show car and the tires had good treads but they were dated 2000 though, now brand new expensive tires, $195 list each, are just installed and balanced with the 225/70/14 B.F.Goodrich radial white lettered TA’s and look great, the smooth ride is terrific, detailed trunk (LINK), clean and solid underchassis (LINK),

interior trim: Fraser Dante first found a terrific original car in fine condition, then with the great white pivot bucket seats, then lots of time and effort has been spent with the factory interior trim pieces to make this a ‘new’ period rare piece,

Summary: a true rare, driven show car fully tested, all the lighting works, has great history to fully document an investment level show car, all aspects fully checked  now through the Fraser Dante shop, this has been prepared for Tom Fraser to go to his high school reunion here in Atlanta, now all is done to insure this is ready to enjoy for Summer 2019 with the new uprated air conditioning system, offered at only $26,950
