1972 Triumph TR6 with full restoration in just fantastic fresh condition, presents just outstanding in the very pretty and extremely desirable and really gorgeous Emerald Green with a great luster, it looks wonderful with the luggage rack, a choice of factory stock or Minilite alloy wheels, a great history and a really big file from restoration work and maintenance for many years, then the final build and update at Fraser Dante, a strong 2.5 litre engine, highly detailed, works fantastic even better than the new factory horsepower of 106 with the street uprated ¾ camshaft, great even compression of 130 to 135 lbs in dry cold reading, this engine sounds terrific, also has the uprated aluminized exhaust system, a fresh full professional tune, just really has terrific body panels, sides are straight as an arrow, has the new black bucket seated with headrests with the complete interior is installed, the underchassis is most solid with the Fraser Dante shop preparing this for show conditions and show how solid it is, this has the engine bay is highly detailed as set up for top Driven Show performance, also even the 4-speed transmission is rebuilt, new black top, top cover, tonneau cover, has both the stock wheels OR as well as a set of expensive 16x7 Minilite alloy wheels with great radial tires, the choice of the new owner, great attention to body detail with a rust free just terrific presentation, this is set up for excellent terrific driving and performance with recent work in the Fraser Dante shop, hard to find in this color and condition, see the many below LINKS to find exacting information on the investment value of this TR6, all the final documented work for Spring 2019 shows,

History: could be very low mile chassis from condition of chassis and information supplied, has been really through two previous restorations even before Fraser Dante did its work, see the copy of the Triumph brochure showing this car was always well cared for, important…see the (LINK) of only some of the trophies this has won through the years, here is a very sporty and really fine car to drive, (SEE THE NOTE ABOUT THE INITIAL RECEIPTS OF $37,000++ WORK AFTER THAT), the next point as the next owner put work into the car, finally the next step was another final upgrading in Atlanta as Fraser Dante put this into our restoration shop to check everything, then more costing, thusly, we know that over $40,000++ is in this beauty with outstanding mechanicals!

Engine: the highly detailed engine bay is show ready, this has great and smooth performance with a car dry weight of only 2280 lbs with the strong 2.5 litre engine, it works very well in today’s ‘real world’, when a new 7.75:1 compression ratio was introduced in 1972, this reworked engine has even better than the new factory horsepower of 106, the engine torque is 133 lbs/ft. as this is equipped with uprated street ¾ camshaft, this engine sounds great, also has the uprated aluminized exhaust system with fresh new throttle bushings and new linkage connected with new fuel lines were checked with the rebuilt dual Stromberg Carburetors, numbered 175 CD-2 on both, they are mounted on the Stanpart Aluminum intake manifold, this carb setup is very valuable as they are not available in the reproduction today, the air cleaner is uprated chrome polished and looks great, all the specifics are presented as verified by the Fraser Dante shop, new windshield washer kit with bracket and strap to be installed (LINK),

In order for this very proper engine bay to present well for top Driven Show and also be fresh for great cooling, the brand new set of the green very correct factory hoses with the proper clamps are installed, in this process the radiator has fresh coolant as it is just flushed and replaced, the Fraser Dante in house British top senior mechanic just tested and has tuned the engine, with a dry cold compression test that was just pulled, very remarkable and strong, 134 to 138 lbs psi (SEE LINK), better than factory when new, then we just checked the engine timing and that is set to factory specs, (SEE THE LINK OF THE LISTING OF NUMBERS…thusly just right for such an engine with the build standards described when Fraser Dante acquired this TR6, then the Fraser Dante professional shop then did the final road check since this had not been used in the Winter of 2018/2019 and road tested as a very ‘spirited’ driver, new expensive NGK ‘Cooper Plus’ spark plugs for Summer 2019, the electrics work great, then we checked the rear end and the dope is just fine,

racing oil/filter: Special Valvoline high performance VR1 20-50 high zinc oil is added along with new filter for engine protection (LINK), note this step is the top racing quality oil that can only engines without a catalytic converter,

Transmission/clutch:  note that in the file, the transmission was taken out of the car to complete a top quality build by the last owner, virtually the transmission now is to very high standards with many exacting specifics in the file, all new, all new fluids, the clutch system is all new from the plate to the full system completed when the engine was out of the car, thusly the drive system is new,

Suspension/brakes: A VERY HIGH POINT OF THIS CAR!  a concerted effort was accomplished for better handling than factory, new coil springs, all new bushings, very strong shock system with the uprated rear change supplied by Moss Motors, also, this has the terrific slotted drilled front brakes that make this stop way better than stock (SEE THE LINK), simply said, the full suspension is completely rebuilt to better than factory standards, this is fun to drive, excellent underchassis (LINK),

Tires/Wheels: this TR6 has one of either two sets of wheels that are offered, the new upgrade of the very expensive new wheels are 16x7” alloy Minilites replicas buy Rota with 205/55/16 blackwall Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires, or this has a set of the proper original stock 15” steel wheels with trim rings and center caps that are in the very correct with the argent color that many people want, they have the B.F. Goodrich 205/70/15 radial blackwall tires,  (LINK),
