Summary: a real classic Mercedes 560SL with many great records for so many years that come with the car, really rust free with great luster and the nice black softtop, this third generation enjoyed the longest production span in SL history, making it one of the most recognizable Mercedes models ever as the “107 body” SL’s spanned 18 model years in the United States and abroad without body panel changes of any kind, when one considers that annual sales of 107 body SLs during its second decade were almost twice as high as during its first, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that designers got this car right from the start as they are still loved today, this one runs just great, although this has 166,383 miles, this has a terrific history and the fresh work completed, many receipts go to the new owner, has a very striking stock appearance with excellent records, yielding such a classic look, now offered at only $13,950
