History of the modern Boss 302:  The Boss 302 suspension adds higher-rate coil springs, stiffer bushings and a larger diameter rear stabilizer bar, the body is lowered 11 mm up front and 1 mm in the rear, the shocks are adjustable at the shock tower, traction and stability control programs are altered to allow for more flexibility on the track, the aero package is copied from the Boss 302R race car, 19-inch black-alloy racing wheels are 9-inches wide up front and 9.5-inches out back and come with P-Zero tires, the famous Coyote 5.0 resulting in the 302’s “Roadrunner” engine with now forged rotating assembly, CNC ported heads, camshafts revisions, and a high flow intake manifold taken from the 302R racecar with BOSS 302 slapped on top, also the exhaust was also unique to these cars as there was side-exit tailpipes with removable baffles, the uprated brakes has big Brembo’s up front, all of this work elevates the Mustang from mere muscle car to now full-fledged sports car with the excellent suspension and look from the TransAm racing period with this 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302.
