1976 Volkswagen Type 2 Campmobile Westphalia in amazing and virtually original condition with outstanding maintenance, very nice Chrome Yellow one re-paint that presents in really nice classic condition, many factory manuals for history showing how well this has been ‘loved’ since 1976, see the many (LINKS) on all these rare factory documents, very nice body, the glass is in fine condition, a really nice floor pan, the 4 cylinder 1976 engine works great with a fresh full tune with all the ignition dwell and timing recently completed with receipts, full recent documented tune, the fresh front discs and full brake have been freshly maintained by VW top shop in Atlanta, has the optional canvas side-extender tent with supports worth $1,000, note the rare factory green plaid fabric in the interior on the seat and the rear bed area that is still in terrific condition, believed only the front seats and front door panels have been redone in a nice gray covering, everything else is as factory, in the interior camper area, see all the original wood, the sink with water facet works, the moveable interior pieces for the family sleeping are still in great condition, the outlet on base of bench with working side power side coupling, has the original attachable cable, the tires are new Nexen tires mounted on VW slotted wheels with the VW stainless hubcaps, has the has the Data Tag breakdown (LINK), rare factory documents, (LINK), simply a great status and very cool vehicle, believed only three owners, so iconic and historic, great investment today,

Engine: has the believed original 2.0-liter flat four cylinders, this 1970cc unit has the electronically controlled fuel injected engine, the horsepower estimated 67 at 4200 rpm, with torque at 3000rpm, thermostatically controlled air cooling, oil cooler, electric fuel pump, there is a full listing of full tune work, has the fuel injection checked, new fuel injection filter, the valves are set and timed, Bosch ignition with distributor and rotor re-placed, valve cover gasket, electrical charging system checked, spark plugs and oil change, has a fresh exhaust full check of the system just done by top VW Georgia shop in 2016 with said group of receipts, the 4-speed transmission works great, receipt shows the receipt maintenance, just shifts great,

Body: very nice base coat/clear coat Chrome Yellow paint that is believed to be a only one repaint from new, full polish and detailing, the data tag shows this is a “unknown special order color”, has the original White pop-up camper roof and the yellow factory side camper material along with the mesh bug curtain still in place, the white bumpers are contrasting with the Chrome Yellow paint, has the very good condition louvered side vented side windows, very solid original floors, the glass is very good, includes expensive canvas exterior right hand side optional awning tent with supports in its special bag, has the cute chrome eyebrows above the headlights recently installed,

Note the rear factory lift gate with supports that raises and stays along with the still plaid covering of the flat area,

Interior: original unrestored camper interior, wood panels, fabrics, etc, working stainless sink with water hook up and holding tank, power cord hook up outlet, upper fold out bunk, lower bed, passenger cabin swivel front seat for added camper seating, dinette table, (LINK), Clarion AM/FM/CD with iPod hook up and 5” Infinity door speakers, new cabin front carpet kit, front safety belts, added dual cup holder in ash tray track, ash tray is included, front cabin privacy front curtain,

Brakes/Suspension/Tires: with the fresh front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, this has the full braking system and front suspension fully just professionally rebuilt with receipts, the brakes were taken off, them the full front and rear wheel bearings and seals, new brake hoses, brake discs and pads, then brake fluid, these brakes work great,
