Engine/transmission: a fully rebuilt correct and the original ‘Y’ block 312cid engine is featured with noting that was rated from the factory at 245 horsepower, this famous Thunderbird Special V-8 with a 312cid displacement and a 4v carberator setup has a 3.80” bore and a 3.44” stroke, with 9.7 to 1 compression, this engine can use pump gas with a bit of lead additive in today’s modern world, with the new low friction design, full overhead valve system, special higher lift camshaft, this is the start of the modern short stroke overhead valve engines as we know today,

This rebuild is from rings to crankshaft bearings and pistons, new camshaft and full oiling system, sounds great as then this engine was built and then driven very limited miles, the casting # is correct, has has the proper Thunderbird Holley 4v carburetor with numbers of #list 1273-25/2994, the intake is stamped #ECZ-9425-B, see (LINK) to numbers, all very correct, dated factory rated at 245 horsepower but this engine should produce more horsepower due its fine build, said quality work is shown with the excellent compression of 160 to 170 lbs is taken in a dry cold reading by Fraser Dante (LINK), this is better than factory when new, when these readings were taken, an expert technical set all the valves at that time and then checked the timing of the engine, then road tested for Fall 2017 show driving,

note the beautiful and proper finned Thunderbird show valve covers are presented, has the show and correct air cleaner, has the fresh show correct red engine paint, one can see all new electrics and wiring with the heavy duty show cables to connect to the 12 volt long battery, 

the rebuilt Fordomatic automatic that has a torque converter and the 3 speed transmission that are as new when completed with the rest of the car in the build, Fraser Dante also checked said working conditions,

Tops: hard to find is both white tops that come with the package, the white porthole hardtop is finished with same quality (LINK), including the headliner and all latches, the also this has the nice white softtop that fits beautifully and the work includes the top black frame being completely stripped and refinished, (LINK),

Running gear: these gorgeous roadsters are desired so they can be enjoyed going to a show, the country club or going to dinner with power options very desired, also this has proper Ford power steering along with the Ford power brakes that that are set up as factory, both of them work great for safety, the brakes have just been checked with hardware and shows at Fraser Dante for Fall 2017,
